7-zip ca't open archives created with TVclZip

Hi,

We use TVCLZip five years now and very happy with it, never got any problems with it. Yesterday we have got e-mail from 7-Zip software developers that their software can't open archives created with our program(TVCLZip). They claim that this is our software fault because, citation below...

"...total number of entries in the central directory on this disk = 4. But it must be = 2 for that archive."

As I understand zip file header created with TVCLZip is not correct, it indicates incorect file count(4) instead of two files actually that is in zip file?


we use VCLZip Pro: Version 3.04 Buid 1 - December 30th, 2003

Tomas,

I believe that was a problem only with that version. You should upgrade to version 3.10. This has the fix for that problem. Send me an email if you do not have the download page and password.
