WOW! $250?? Is that really all you found? Where did you find that?
I actually had a Kylix version running a few years ago, but did not see enough interest out there to make it worth my time to distribute or support it.
I'm not sure, I'd have to have a good idea just how much demand for such a thing there really was.

Hi kevin Sorry for the long delay , just had 3 weeks of nice warm holiday. I have really search my bu.. away without finding any package for kylix except for some very expensive onces. I know people just say I can use the zip command in linux, but that do not give me possibilty to zip to stream. I really think there must be a need for a zip component, but not many want to use $250 so instead they use less nice alternatives such as the zip command( I do). there are almost no package to kylix out there and the cheapest I found was this $259.99 . www.pitsoftware.com. (acutally - after 1 hour googling , I only found this one) It have a lot of different compressionsmethodes, but I dont need them, I only need zip. Best regards Kim

I will try to look into reviving the Kylix 3 version of VCLZip I had created a few years ago. I believe I was calling it CLXZip.

Kim,
Sorry for the delay in answering, my PC was totally disabled.
Unfortunately, after investigating, I have decided not to move ahead with a Kylix version. Due to the fact that Kylix is dead and the difficulties getting it to run on newer versions of Linux, it would just be too much work for me to be worth it.
Sorry,
Kevin
