VCLZip 4.60 Beta Build 1 available

Just wanted to let you know that a BETA version of VCLZip 4.60 is available to those that are interested in trying it out and currently registered users of VCLZip 4. This beta version has the following new features:

- EncryptInPlace - New procedure that encrypts files in an existing archive without the need for unzipping and rezipping those files.
- DecryptInPlace - New procedure that decrypts files in an existing archive without the need for unzipping and rezipping those files.
- Ability to specify a file/date (TDateTime) when calling ZipFromStream and ZipFromBuffer.

If you are interested in trying this beta out (and currently registered), send an email to [e-mail] to get the password needed to install the source code.

There is also a new updated version of the VCLZip Zip Utility Delphi project which allows encrypting and decrypting in place. Select the files you want to process and select "Action > Decrypt File(s)" or "Action > Encrypt File(s)". Be aware that we have not attempted to put a lot of error checking into the demo.

Please let us know of any problems you find with this beta as soon as possible so that it can be moved toward a new production version fairly quickly. :-)
