Hello,
I got my first reminder for the prolongation of my support contract for the VCLZip component.
Now I need to evaluate if it is worth to do so.
Could you please provide us the roadmap of what are you planning to do for the next 12 months?
Thanks in advance for any information. With kind regards, Ruediger Kabbasch

Hello All,
We are still here. Progress has been slow due to more pressing projects over the last several months.
A new version is expected to be out by the end of this month which will include in-place encryption and decryption as well as being an "official" 2010 release.
As for your subscription renewals, for now, due to the circumstances, it is ok and certainly understandable if you cancel your subscription for now, you can restart it for the same price at any time by getting an upgrade discount by sending me an email. And since this next release was intended to have happened in November, anyone who was covered up until November will still be able to download the new version.
We apologize for the lower level of development over the last several months. As can be seen from the New Feature and Product Requests section of this forum there have been a few requests but very few. And for the requests that are there, there has been very few people asking for them. Therefore, with some other critical projects that have come up this past year, while support and stability have not dropped one bit (a vast majority of support is still handled via email), adding new features has taken a bit of a back seat for now.
So please feel free to cancel your subscriptions for now, if you would like, and as stated above, you can restart it anytime you wish for support or new updates when they come out.
When requests for new features increase, new features will be added.
Thanks!
Kevin

I'd like to confirm that if I buy a site license (non-subscription) for the current version today, that I"ll be able to upgrade to the 'official' Delphi 2010 version when its released. I've been waiting for a couple months for the D2010 release to come out, it sounds like you should have it soon, but can't really put off getting it in place any longer.

Yes, if you buy a site license you will definitely get the "official" 2010 release when it comes out.
